This article proposes Theologia Morae (Theology of Slowness) as a theological-spiritual framework for transformative Christian leadership in the era of disruptive acceleration. Drawing from Hartmut Rosa's social acceleration theory and Byung-Chul Han's critique of the burnout society, this study diagnoses acceleration as a spiritual pathology that negates the Sabbath principle inherent in creation. The theological construction of slow leadership is built upon four foundations: theologia crucis, kenosis, pneumatology, and already-not yet eschatology. Praxis dimensions include contemplation, Sabbath as prophetic resistance, temporal hospitality, and commitment to long-term formation. Contextualized within Indonesia, this framework resonates with local wisdom traditions such as alon-alon waton kelakon, tirakat, and musyawarah. Theologia Morae argues that slowness is not weakness but an essential theological virtue for sustainable and transformative leadership.
