Pernikahan sebagai ruang liminal: Rekonstruksi teologis sakramen dalam perspektif studi ritual

Artikel ini mengajukan rekonstruksi teologis terhadap sakramen pernikahan Kristen melalui perspektif ritual studies, khususnya konsep liminalitas Victor Turner. Teologi pernikahan konvensional cenderung beroperasi dalam logika biner statis yang mereduksi pernikahan menjadi status ontologis yang diperoleh sekali dan permanen. Melalui analisis konseptual terhadap struktur ritus peralihan (rites of passage), artikel ini berargumen bahwa pernikahan lebih tepat dipahami sebagai permanent liminality, yakni kondisi ambang berkelanjutan yang tidak pernah sepenuhnya terselesaikan ke dalam stabilitas struktural. Implikasi teologis dari paradigma ini mencakup reinterpretasi komunitas Turner sebagai analog dengan koinonia Perjanjian Baru, serta pengembangan konsep ritual maintenance sebagai praktik liturgis domestik yang memelihara dimensi sakramental pernikahan sepanjang kehidupan pasangan.
