Christian Early Childhood Education teachers have a dual role that not only provides academic education but also moral and spiritual education in accordance with Christian teachings. This study examines the correlation between school well-being and work stress and their effects on the work performance of Christian PAUD/kindergarten teachers in North Tapanuli, North Sumatra. The results of quantitative research involving 106 Christian PAUD/kindergarten teachers were then examined through a theology-of-work perspective that positions work as integral to divine calling, rather than merely an economic activity or a worldly obligation. Improving work performance based on a theology of work perspective can be realized by prioritizing: 1) loving, having, being, and health to improve teachers' school well-being; 2) good stress management through rest, prayer and reflection, and accepting help from counselors; 3) diligence and patience in work; 4) resilience in workplace suffering; 5) compassion and honesty in relationships with others in the workplace. The practical implications of these findings include policy recommendations to improve school well-being and effective stress-management strategies for Christian PAUD/kindergarten teachers, or the acceptance of professional help, such as counseling services.
