This study examines the integration of Christian education and pastoral care as a trauma recovery model for natural disaster victims in Indonesia. Natural disasters frequently occurring in Indonesia create complex trauma affecting spiritual, psychological, and social dimensions of survivors. This research identifies a critical gap between traditional Christian education approaches and the urgent need for trauma-informed pastoral accompaniment in disaster contexts. Using qualitative theological methods and literature review from reputable theological journals and books, this study proposes a holistic model integrating pastoral counseling principles with Christian educational practices. The findings suggest that trauma-informed Christian education, grounded in theological understanding of suffering and grace, provides meaningful pathways for spiritual resilience and communal healing. This model emphasizes Holy Saturday theology, presence-based ministry, and contextualized pedagogical approaches that honor survivors' traumatic experiences while fostering hope and transformation.
