Harmoni dalam keberagaman: Penguatan kompetensi pedagogik guru pendidikan agama Kristen untuk pembelajaran multikultural yang transformatif

This article examines the enhancement of pedagogical competencies among Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers in Indonesia's transformative multicultural learning contexts. In Indonesia's pluralistic society, CRE teachers face the challenge of facilitating learning processes that convey Christian values and instill appreciation for diversity. Through a literature review and theological perspectives, this article presents a conceptual framework for developing CRE teachers' pedagogical competencies that are responsive to multicultural learning needs. The findings indicate that strengthening culturally responsive pedagogical competencies of CRE teachers requires the integration of theological understanding concerning plurality, development of dialogue-centered learning methods, and critical reflection on existing educational practices. This article concludes that robust and transformative pedagogical competencies can facilitate harmony in diversity through contextual, inclusive, and dialogical learning processes.
Abstrak
Artikel ini mengkaji penguatan kompetensi pedagogik guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dalam konteks pembelajaran multikultural yang transformatif di Indonesia. Dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang plural, guru PAK menghadapi tantangan untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran yang tidak hanya menyampaikan nilai-nilai kekristenan tetapi juga menanamkan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman. Melalui kajian literatur dan perspektif teologis, artikel ini menawarkan kerangka konseptual untuk mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru PAK yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan pembelajaran multikultural. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi pedagogik guru PAK yang berwawasan multikultural memerlukan integrasi pemahaman teologis tentang pluralitas, pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada dialog, serta refleksi kritis terhadap praktik pendidikan yang ada. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik yang kuat dan transformatif dapat memfasilitasi harmoni dalam keberagaman melalui proses pembelajaran yang kontekstual, inklusif, dan dialogis.
