Trinitas, tondi, dan ekologi: Dialog konstruktif ekologis konsep tondi dalam kosmologi Batak dan Trinitas Panenteisme Jurgen Moltmann

Forest destruction in Indonesia is mainly caused by illegal logging, forest and land fires, mining activities, forest conversion into large-scale plantations or industrial plant forests, and unsustainable logging. Before Christianity came, the Batak people in North Sumatra respected the forest because it was considered a place where Tondi (Spirit) existed. Forests cannot be encroached on arbitrarily just for the greed of a group of people. This article aims to construct a constructive dialogue with the concept of tondi in Batak cosmology with the Trinitarian theology of panentheism. The research results show that the Christian Panentheism Trinity can build an understanding of the tondi Batak community that is more ecologically and environmentally friendly.
Abstrak
Kerusakan hutan di Indonesia terutama disebabkan oleh penebangan liar (illegal logging), kebakaran hutan dan lahan, kegiatan penambangan, peralihan fungsi hutan (konversi) menjadi perkebunan skala besar atau hutan tanaman industri, dan penebangan tidak lestari (unsustainable logging). Sebelum masuknya Kekristenan, masyarakat Batak di Sumatera Utara sangat menghormati hutan karena dianggap sebagai tempat hadirnya tondi (Roh). Hutan tidak dapat dirambah secara sewenang-wenang hanya demi keserakahan sekelompok orang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan dialog secara konstruktif konsep tondi dalam kosmologi Batak dengan gagasan teologi Trinitas panenteisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan Trinitas panenteisme Kristiani dapat mengonstruksi pemahaman tentang tondi masyarakat Batak yang lebih ekologis dan ramah lingkungan.
